Justin and Charlotte are both from farming stock having been born and bred on farms. Justin on a station in the Canterbury High Country and Charlotte on an East Coast farm in Southern Hawke's Bay.
Justin has lived and breathed farming and everything farming related from a very early age and has worked on many farms throughout New Zealand and Australia as well as driving agriculture machinery for contractors.
In June 2013 Justin and Charlotte purchased their first farm out near Porangahau. They sold this in May 2020 looking to expand when they spotted the opportunity to purchase Small Farm Services Hawke's Bay.
Born and bred on farms in Canterbury and Hawke's Bay. Justin holds a Diploma in Agriculture and Farm Management from Lincoln University.
Experience across NZ and Australian farms, tourism, contracting, and the ski industry gives Justin a broad set of practical skills for any challenge.
Our philosophy is quality workmanship in a timely and efficient manner. Communication and organisation is key, and we pride ourselves on that.
Justin prides himself on a strong work ethic done to a very high standard and loves interacting with different people. He has worked in the tourism industry as a hunting guide and in the ski industry with his parents' past tourism ventures.
Along with a stint in Outback Australia on a cattle station, this sees him command a great range of skills both practically and people wise to tackle different jobs and challenges.
Justin has a Diploma in Agriculture and Farm Management from Lincoln University to complement his practical skills.
Charlotte is a qualified primary school teacher with a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning from Canterbury University. She is very capable on the farm and looks forward to complementing Justin in many facets of the business.
